The MIWE zoom* allows users to control MIWE baking stations remotely from a smartphone. The user interface of the baking oven is duplicated on the smartphone. This saves a lot of (travel) time. Users can focus on other tasks without jeopardising the quality of their baked goods.
Requirements:
• Touch Control MIWE TC control system with latest MIWE go! user interface
• Baking station with TCP/IP connection
• Baking station with access to branch network
• iPhone and iPad with iOS version 8.0 and higher
• Can be used outside of a branch via a smartphone with VPN access to the local network of the branch
• Available for the MIWE aero, MIWE econo and MIWE gusto snack
More information:
MIWE zoom* allows users to operate and control a MIWE baking station remotely as though they were standing right in front of the oven. On the mobile device, usually a tablet with a high-resolution screen, the user sees exactly the same display as on the baking stations MIWE TC Touch Control system. The app "mirrors" the control system, in other words.
The distance between the baking station and tablet can vary depending on the installation and application.
All that saves a lot of travel time, provides better insight into and greater control over bakery processes (such quality assurance), and can even speed up troubleshooting if a problem occurs.
To use this technology, the baking station must be connected to the branch network by a cable/router. The tablet can be connected to the branch network directly via the Internet using a WiFi or a secure VPN connection. Ultimately, the apps range is only limited by the individual configuration of the branch network. Once the baking station and tablet are connected via a local branch network, users can access the baking station on their tablet as long as they are within WiFi range. If users can access the baking station from their tablet via the Internet, they can access their MIWE baking station directly from any location with Internet access.
